The best compliment I have ever received had nothing to do with physical appearance, but instead was how I made someone feel.

As someone who has often had the emphasis on my appearance because of modeling and other things, to have a compliment on my personality or how I made someone feel is very gratifying.

That all being said the compliment was on a first impression and the person has said that I was warm, down to earth, and welcoming- three things I wouldn’t self describe as. However, as someone who has always been confident in my outward appearance, but somewhat insecure about my personality or how people view/perceive me, this compliment meant the world.
